Edward McIntosh is a British architect born in Ecuador. He is a Fulbright Scholar, having conducted his postgraduate studies at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation where he graduated with honours.
He has worked in design leadership roles with some of the most prestigious offices in the world.
He is currently the Regional Design Dir. for Atkins in the Middle East and Africa. His current position has allowed him to participate and frequently win, in some of the most revolutionary projects in history.
He was an early adopter of AI, text to image tools and uses both for his personal research and for projects within Atkins
He is interested in defining what are the differentiators that humans can develop in order to escape a possible generalization of outcome AI tools might lead to, as well as developing new workflows and uses for these tools
