Before joining Dentsu, Yusuke was a radio and TV writer, and prior to that spent eight years researching animation, mainly stop motion, at the Tokyo University of the Arts

Currently in his role as Art Director at Dentsu Lab Tokyo, Yusuke seeks to create new forms of expression founded on technology, and his work spans traditional advertising, digital, spatial design, and branding. He also occasionally writes manga for publications.

Among his recent major projects are the Parade of Nations in the Tokyo 2020 Paralympic Games Opening Ceremony, and UNLABELED, a textile brand designed to camouflage wearers from AI recognition.

His work has been selected for the Japan Media Arts Festival, has received Prix Ars Electronica Honorary Mention and the Red Dot Award, and has been recognized at numerous advertising awards including Cannes Lions, D&AD, The One Show, ADC, Clio, Spikes Asia, and Adfest.
