I’m a 'yung' graphic designer by day and a graffiti artist by night, although I sometimes like referring to myself as a creative shape-shifter.
‘Yung’ is a slang term for young. My youth plays a very important role in my creativity. It represents my personality & unconventional approach to my work and life.
Diagnosed with ADHD at the age of 6, creating has been one of many ways for me to express my energy. I sometimes believe that I'm more of a visual artist than a designer. I'm truly passionate about design and see it as being the more controlled part of my creativity, the more logical side that creates a balance for me.
Since graduating, I’ve freelanced on the side and also I’ve been working as a designer at various leading branding & advertising agencies such as VMLY&R South Africa, FCB Africa and Superunion Africa, which has allowed me to work on some of the best brands in the world.
